Trump is an Anchor on the Party

Trump is an Anchor on the Party by Will Chamberlain 37 views I've made a point of not attacking pro-Trump influencers, especially ones who I've been friendly with in the past.  There's a number of reasons for this. For one, I strongly supported Trump in 2016 and 2020. I see Trump supporters as part of my "wing" of the party - the America First wing - even if I'm supporting a different candidate in this primary. And when the general comes around, we're all going to be back on the same team again.  For another, I think it's tacky. I'm going to continue that here.  Sebastian Gorka, I have no interest in lobbing personal attacks at you. Even given your intemperate remarks towards me, I don't dislike you, personally. My point - that Trump is going to be a convicted felon and will drag down the GOP next November - is descriptive. It's not normative. I don't want Trump convicted. He still has a substantial chance of being the nominee. I want R...

We Should Be Sensitive

Image
We Should Be Sensitive You’re supposed to feel by Lauren Southern  32 views The older I get the more sensitive to the media I consume I become. Violence, sexual content, emotional stories etc.  It psychologically impacts me quite a bit. When I was younger, I used to think of this as rather pathetic. That being sensitive is for “snowflakes” or made you weak. Silly thinking but oh well, that’s what growing up is for. Realizing and accepting many of your thoughts couldn’t be more untrue. Desensitization is perhaps the greatest sign of detachment from reality. It has nothing to do with experience or understanding of life. You’re not mature, you actually have no idea what’s going on. You can’t feel the weight of your own or others spiritual experience anymore. We should be sensitive. You’re supposed to feel. Not the faux sensitivity of modern liberalism, which is actually just a demand that everyone sympathize with us . Or worse, just emotional blackmail for ulterior motives presen...

It's Time to Move on From Trump

It's Time To Move On From Trump by  Josh Power 55 views Trump stood up to radical Islam, destroyed ISIS, put the travel ban in place, appointed 3 good SCOTUS justices and a ton of great judges to lower federal courts. He rekindled a sense of patriotism in many Americans after 8 years of Obama and crew constantly pointing out the worst in our country. He stood up to the lying media and roasted them to their faces. And they deserved every bit of it, because they'd been propping up Obama and gaslighting conservatives for 8 years and have basically become a propaganda arm to the Left. He also pointed out the failures of the 'nation building and democracy spreading' policies of the Bush/Cheney era and showed us that it was time to move on. For all of these things, I am grateful. He also didn’t build the wall, didn’t repeal and replace, led terribly during Covid, didn’t stop the BLM rioting, appointed Fauci and refused to fire him, rammed the vax through 10 years of safety te...

AIPAC is not America First

Image
AIPAC is not America First by Les Govment 49 views The American Israel Public Affairs Committee has a decades-long history of pushing Israeli interests in U.S. policy. It has more recently started to buy off American Senators and House members via campaign contributions. AIPAC has also wrongly spoken against Congressman Thomas Massie and Senator Rand Paul because of their principled opposition to bills to send additional aid to the Israeli government.  The US Government's alliance with the Israeli Government is clearly an entangling alliance that has not benefitted the American people in any way. // ...

Libertarian Party Post

Image
Libertarian Party Post 31 views by LP National Libertarians believe that the equal rights of all people matter all the time. No exceptions. These liberties are not mere privileges granted by the government, but inalienable rights inherent to every individual.  The Libertarian Party stands as a steadfast defender of these rights, unwavering in our commitment to protect them against any form of government intrusion. Our stance is clear: personal freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and the right to privacy must be upheld at all costs. These rights are essential for a thriving society, allowing for a diversity of thoughts and beliefs, fostering innovation, and enabling citizens to hold their government accountable. We recognize that once these liberties are compromised, the path to authoritarianism is short. History is replete with examples where the erosion of civil liberties under the guise of security or order has led to the suppression of ...

Entangling Alliances

ENTANGLING ALLIANCES President Washington warned against them by Les Govment 41 views  From George Washington's Farewell Address: "The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign nations, is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. Europe has a set of primary interests, which to us have none, or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves, by artificial ties, in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities... it is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world... " The US Government's entangling alliances with NATO and Israel should be ended.// ..

An Appeal To Women

AN APPEAL TO WOMEN Let's get back to this more modest way of life by Mia 39 views Ladies, it is not men who are calling on us to be modest. The Bible is calling on us—not just in our manner of dress, but in our spirit, our acts, our words, and our character. On a side note, if your husband is calling on you to be modest, you should do so out of respect for him. People interpret 1 Timothy 2: 9-10  different ways. I’ve talked to so many women who say that they want to stay home, but they “need” to work, and yet many of them don’t. They just need to have the big house, the fancy car, and the brand name attire. I’d say this most certainly applies to them as much as any woman who shows too much skin. I also believe that modesty of character is just as important as all of the above. I think of the woman who’s drunk and falling all over herself and random men at the bar when I read this verse. She’s loud and obnoxious, that’s how she gets attention—not through her intellect, her kind...

Israelis Palestinians

Image
ISRAELIS PALESTINIANS by  Natural Immunity 39 views  Pick a side? I side with the people. Civilians. All of them. I've been to Israel. My father lives there, in Jerusalem. I'm half Palestinian. But I have numerous amazing, lovely Jewish friends. My doctor is Jewish. The news, once again, isn't giving you the whole truth. The VAST majority of Palestinians are not a hateful or violent people. On the contrary, they're some of the most loving, welcoming, family-oriented, intelligent people I've ever seen. They love their children, just like you do. They spend their time talking, dancing, sharing the most amazing food with extended family, every day. They greet others warmly with hugs and kisses, always. They live their lives with a smile on their face, despite living in very oppressive circumstances. The ones parading around dead babies or stoning women are a very SICK and FEW minority. But they get all the headlines. What happened to Jewish civilians is mind-bogglingly...

Persecuting Trump

PERSECUTING TRUMP by Les Govment 36 views Some of you may have noticed that in recent months I have warmed up to Governor Ron DeSantis. At this point, amongst viable candidates, he's the best POTUS candidate, IMO. (Note: I would prefer a libertarian candidate, but candidates nominated for President by the Libertarian Party just aren't viable.) I have also stated that Trump lost me when he started trashing DeSantis and lied about conditions in Florida. Having said all of that, I find the charges against Trump and the 18 in Georgia to be troubling-- especially the RICO charges. Fulton County DA Fani Willis is really twisting the RICO statute, in my opinion. I can't read the hearts of the 18 defendants, but I expect that some of them-- like me-- were genuinely committed to stopping Democrat dominance over America. I truly believe that Democrats cheated in the 2020 presidential election. I even put up a header banner on my Twitter account stating, "Democrats Cheated."...

Gender Issues

GENDER ISSUES by Les Govment 35 views Finally!   The time has come where people are now able to openly challenge the woke-left narrative about gender issues. The first thing I’m going to challenge here is the lefty vocabulary surrounding gender issues: The Left has a history of changing the terms they use, twisting the definition of words, and inventing words. For instance, they changed “global warming” to “climate change.” They’ve twisted the definition of “woman.” And they invented new terms like “homophobe” and “transgender.” The twisting of the word “woman” to include transpersons has been a terrible disservice to females-- which has become quite obvious in girl’s/women’s sports, where biological males have had an unfair advantage over females. Natural-born females are biologically distinguished from males, and no amount of surgery or hormones can change that scientific fact. Next up: the made-up term, “transgender.” I call it a made-up term because (concerning sexual developme...

Every Child Deserves a Good Mother and Father

Image
Every Child Deserves a Good Mother and Father   by Les Govment 99 views   If you are middle-aged or older, you’ve probably noticed that the traditional, biological family isn’t as tenacious as it was in the past. Certainly, there still are good, tight-knit families in America. But families in general aren't as cohesive as families used to be.   It’s well established that the best social structure to raise a child in is the traditional, biological family. Therein, a child can experience the benefits of having both a father and a mother, and all that they can provide: sustenance, love, guidance, protection. It’s also beneficial for a child to have siblings, which gives a child a chance to experience peer relationships with adult supervision. Inevitably, such families will have conflicts within them, but life in a good family will provide experiences for a child that cultivate things like affection and respect for others, self-discipline, a sense of self-worth, and a good wo...

Gay Adoption

Image
GAY ADOPTION   All children deserve a mother and a father by Les Govment 57 views (Author’s note: My following comments on the topic of adoption aren't meant to disparage gays-- I simply support what is best for children in need of adoption. I also believe that, ordinarily, single people-- myself included-- should not be allowed to adopt children.) The American College of Pediatricians has concerns about gay parenting and is an advocate of father-and-mother parenting:   "The family environment in which children are reared plays a critical role in forming a secure gender identity, positive emotional well-being, and optimal academic achievement. Decades of social science research documents that children develop optimally when reared by their two biological parents in a low conflict marriage. The limited research advocating childrearing by same-sex parents has severe methodological limitations."   No one really knows how many children in the U.S. live in gay-led households--...

Parents Please Read This

Image
Don't Transition Your Kids by Amber Monk Parker 35 views PARENTS PLEASE READ THIS:  This is my middle daughter Hope at 3 and 18. When she was about 2.5 yrs old, she told me she wanted to be a boy. This continued in different forms until she was 12-13. She asked me once: “When am I going to grow a winkie?” (Side note: she had an older sister and brother and had seen it all as I often bathed them together!). I explained that she wouldn’t because she was a girl. She told me she wanted to tee-tee standing up so I explained how that wouldn’t work for her. Unfazed, she decided to try it! It didn’t work and life went on. She was all tomboy! She played sports and was hyper competitive. Almost all of her friends until 7th grade were boys. She only wore boy's underwear! She had to wear a dress on Sundays as we attended church and that was our rule but she often walked into her class, yanked her dress up and announced, “I’m still wearing my boy underwear.” I never argued with her about he...

Examining Transgender

Image
EXAMINING TRANSGENDER Is the word "transgender" actually a misnomer? by Les Govment authored 2018 342 views I have no reason to doubt that Gender Dysphoria is real. But being transgendered is another matter-- I do have reason to believe that being transgendered is not a biologically-based condition in most of the people who identify as trans. The commonly-claimed aspect of being transgendered is that such a person is living in the body of the opposite sex.   If being in the body of the opposite sex is biologically possible, it seems to me that it would likely involve a person’s hormonal balance essentially being reversed from what is normal for said person’s biological sex– such as a male with a really low level of testosterone or a female with a really high level of testosterone. But I have never heard a trans-person or anyone in the medical profession claim that trans-persons have a hormonal imbalance. So, what causes a person to be trans? Do transgender people actually hav...

DeSantis Has Provided Leadership

DeSantis Has Provided Leadership by Conservativa Politica 39 views I just listened to our Governor speak about our budget and the fiscal condition of our state here in Florida and several things crossed my mind as he spoke. 1. This is the smartest, most policy-wise politician I've ever heard speak since Ronald Reagan. 2. I'm going to hate to lose him as our Governor, whether that happens in 2024 when the country elects him as it's 47th President or whether in 2026 when he is term limited out as Governor. 3. Our country needs exactly the kind of fiscal leadership that Governor DeSantis has provided Florida. We have enjoyed record surpluses even with substantial tax cuts and low debt. And these surpluses have allowed us to do things other states can only dream of. 4. Those who say he can't communicate well, is a RINO or a neo-con, or think he's not qualified to be our Chief Executive simply haven't taken the time to get to know him, his record and his po...
